Count Chemicals, not Calories

When fat is removed from foods and additional chemical sweeteners are added, it can trigger our cravings (and binges). We want more and more food because we aren’t satisfied. Healthy fat is not bad, in fact, it satisfies us.

Luckily, in the last 20 years in the nutrition and wellness industry, there has been a movement away from low fat and an increased focus on whole fat and less processed foods.

So instead of tracking the calorie count and fat grams on the nutrition label of every box, why not look at the ingredient list and make sure you are eating ingredients that you can pronounce.

Italian Wedding Soup

This is a healthier version of an Italian Wedding Soup.  Traditionally, the italian wedding soup would have pasta and bread crumbs in the meatballs, we have skipped those items.

There are so many nutritious items in this soup: the homemade bone broth, the grass fed ground beef and leafy greens.  These components make it an amazing gut healing, superfood soup to take to the office for lunch or eat for family dinner.
